Major Changes to that latest HALLOWEEN film in the series!

Harry here, man... this sounds like a real disaster. At least there is a massive attempt to try and save it and doing whatever it takes... of course maybe they are just flushing more money down the bowl to that neverending money pit of a bad idea. Well, it ain't our money til its done... I have seen all the HALLOWEEN films because of a tumor in my brain that must be treated with Carpenter's original theme, so I'll see this one too... knowing full well that there is one great HALLOWEEN film and that is likely to be the case forever...

I want to remain anonymous because I don't usually scoop like this.

Title has changed from Halloween: The Homecoming to Halloween: The End of the Bogeyman. Director Rick Rosenthal was officially fired from his helm as director, but she said that he actually quit over a dispute between himself and Moustapha Akkad. Leaving the film unfinished and extremely unpolished. The Studio planned to release the movie AS IS on a strait to video format, but Jamie Lee and Busta Rhymes had the idea of saving it and re-shooting for a theatrical release. H20 Director Steve Miner has been hired to "save" the movie. He will re-shoot over 2/3 of the movie again. This will be deja vu for him since he had to re-shoot his Halloween H20 due to the Miramax not liking the way the mask looked. It's now slated for a late summer 2003 release. The Studios have lost roughly 10 million in the shooting and re-shooting already and Moustapha Akkad stated for press that he wanted nothing to do with Halloween sequels after this one was completed. Although, I find that hard to swallow due to the fact Akkad makes money on nothing But Halloween films and has been that way since Halloween first released in 78'.
