Pics from the set of M Night's SIGNS!!! Plus reports... including Spoilers...

Hey Folks, Harry here... In Bucks Town, Penn. M. Night Shyamalan's Third film is well underway shooting... And is now retreating into a makeshift studio style warehouse to shoot a good deal of the rest of the film. One reader pointed me towards the articles with no mention of the pics... the first I've seen anywhere of Mel and the next M Night kid... Rory Culkin (yes, as in those Culkins) Below are some Excerpts from an Article that appeared in the well respected Courier Times!!!

(Photos: Jay Crawford/Courier Times)

"Child actors Rory Culkin - younger brother of Macauley - and Abigail Breslin and veteran character actor Lanny Flaherty were featured in the scene..."

"Crewmembers have been hush-hush on the plot of the movie, directed by Oscar-nominated M. Night Shyamalan and slated for a late summer 2002 release. One worker said the movie will be eerie but does not necessarily contain a surprise ending as in Shyamalan's previous hits, "The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable.""

"The movie, which takes place in current times, is billed as a thriller about mysterious crop circles that appear on a family farm in Bucks County. (Yes, it will be referred to as Bucks County in the movie). Gibson plays Graham Hess, a family man, farmer and town pastor whose faith is tested in his quest to find the truth behind the circles. Phoenix plays Merrill Hess, Gibson's younger brother and a former minor league baseball star."

"No recognizable actresses were spotted in town for the filming. Patricia Kalember, who appeared on the TV shows "Sisters" and "ThirtySomething," is the only recognizable female name among circulating cast lists."

Meanwhile, the Tall Guy from the New Jersey region found out the following on his search and gather mission:

Tall Guy back with some key plot points for M. Night Shyamalan's "Signs," as picked up on location in Newtown, PA...

SPOILERS FOLLOW... AVERT YOUR EYES LEST YOU SEE....

Movie opens when Mel Gibson's character, Episcopalian priest Graham Hess, drives by the scene of a horrific traffic accident...he gets out of his car and realizes it's his wife...he gives her her last rites, and she dies....Hess, consumed with grief, decides to give up his priestly duties and become a farmer, which was his first calling...but then, the crop circles appear on his land! Hess is thrown into the public limelight, and begins his quest to find out who or what is responsible for the circles....in the end, Hess comes to grips with his faith, the loss of his wife, and the crop circles, as the result of what one on-location source calls something very "spiritual."

Eh, sounds boring.

Tall Guy out.

Actually Tall Guy, it sounds very very interesting to me. The film is being described as 'EERIE' by those on set filming, that have read M Night's latest script... Personally I can't wait to see/hear and experience this flick next Fall!!! M. Night is the man man!

Harry out...
