Hey folks, Harry here... On March 30th, we seem to be headed towards a pretty good weekend at the movies. We have AMORES PERROS which has been winning awards and praises from all over the world as well as some great coverage from LATIN AICN and was nominated as one of the best foreign films in the recent GOLDEN GLOBES. Also we have John Boorman's latest movie TAILOR OF PANAMA, which just picked up an R-rating for strong sexuality, language and some violence. It is a John Le Carre' novel turned to film... meaning a damn good spy story is at its heart. Meanwhile, there is another spy film hitting the same day: SPY KIDS from Robert Rodriguez. I got an email from Robert yesterday, and he is finishing up the final sound on SPY KIDS and cutting the new trailer as you read this somewhere in California, and will soon return to Austin to begin work on SPY KIDS 2. And from one Austin filmmaker to an Austin Producer, Lynda Obst's new film ANIMAL HUSBANDRY is also set for March 30th. She has assembled quite a wonderful cast with Ashley Judd, Ellen Barkin, Marisa Tomei, Greg Kinnear and Hugh Jackman for this film about a woman getting to the bottom of what makes men tick by studying the aggressively womanizing Hugh Jackman. Wolverine, a womanizer? ALRIGHT, that sounds about right!
