Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a bit of sad news for us Dr. Herbert West fans. For the longest time we've been hearing about the Stuart Gordon helmed RE-ANIMATOR sequel to take place in the White House, a thinly veiled knock on the Bush Administration.

Great premise and it would have seen Stuart Gordon once more mixing up the glowing green goop.

But apparently Jeffrey Combs announced the death of the project at the San Jose FangoCon. Well, he said it was "Asleep" due to the Democrats coming back into power and Bush's looming departure from the White House. I say that's bull. We'll love to make fun of Dubya and laugh at potshots for the next decade or more. He's the new Nixon. It's okay to make fun of him for a good long time, not just while he's in office.
