Z CHANNEL On IFC All Weekend Long! The Coolest Movie Marathon On TV Right Now!!
Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
Yes, IFC is showing the exceptional Xan Cassavetes documentary Z CHANNEL: A MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION this weekend, but even better, they actually let Xan come in and program the channel for the weekend. That means that starting at 6:15 AM EST on Saturday (today), you can see WILD STRAWBERRIES, THE 400 BLOWS, OVERLORD (which I’ve never seen anywhere before), BAD TIMING, the full-length HEAVEN’S GATE, Visconti’s WHITE NIGHTS, and much more. It’s a wonderful line-up, and you should just tune in for the whole thing to give yourself an idea what it might have been like to actually have Z Channel back in the day.
Great move, IFC. Very, very classy.
