REMAKE THIS!! Jon Peters Is Remaking THE BLOB'! Again'!

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

I got the tip-off the other day from a very reliable little bird that landed here in the Labs and whispered:

”Pssssssst. Jon Peters just got the rights to remake THE BLOB again, and he’s looking to do it in the vein of GHOSTBUSTERS or MEN IN BLACK. Look for them to announce a writer/director in the weeks ahead.”

Huh? First of all, there’s a perfectly serviceable remake from the late ‘80s. Have we already used up every other idea? It’s less than 15 years later, and we’re already back to THE BLOB again?

Besides, I’ve seen Jon Peters’s idea of a MEN IN BLACK. It was called WILD WILD WEST, and it made my brain bleed.

Please... don’t.
