Moments later, we saw Mandy carefully pulling a translucent layer of protection from her palm, then we saw President Palmer collapse, his hand infected and consumed by some kind of flesh-eating virus dealie. We cut to the digital clock, which counted down the final seconds of the second season. Ughnnnn! Plop. Ughnnnn! Plop. Ughnnnn! Plop.
Well, guess what? The new “24” second-season DVD, due here in the states Sept. 9, contains 45 deleted scenes – and one of those deleted scenes shows us what happened AFTER Palmer collapsed!
